The Stone Jetty in Morecambe was built as a rail terminus to serve ferries in the 1800's according the the sign on the building you can see. I quite enjoyed the Promenade this evening, I was a little early for sunset and had the family with me so couldn't wait around, but there are some very promising locations for the future here.

I went for a drive to Haweswater today with my daughter to photograph this afternoon. I was quite happy with the photographs that I got (I'll post later), but this scene really caught my eye when I was about half way home, so I pulled over and I prefer this to my intended photo of the day!
Crags on Farleton Knott, Cumbria, UK
A rock on Farleton Knott. There are some fabulous limestone pavements and crags around this area with fantastic views! So many people see this on the way to the Lake District on their way from the South and so many pass it by. Well worth a visit.
